Project: Highway Agency and Public Complex Audit for NJPDES Phase 2
Stormwater Permit Compliance
Client: Morris County Department of Public Works & Engineering
![]() |
GSE was retained by Morris County to complete a thorough inventory and
assessment of the College’s existing stormwater-related data and
practices in accordance with both its NJPDES Public Complex and Highway
Agency Stormwater General Permits. Our approach included the identification
of infrastructure impacted by the Municipal Stormwater Regulation Program;
the organization of information provided by the County for the affected
stormwater systems including systems inventory, design & performance
standards and operations & management practices; researching the availability
of additional information relevant to Municipal Stormwater Regulation
Program and the completion of the Statewide Basic Requirements (SBRs)
associated with the Program’s permits; compilation & review
of the above information and identification of deficiencies with same
when compared to the permit SBRs; and; summary & recommendations including
general scope description and anticipated implementation budget. This
audit process acted as the foundation of the action items required to
meet the specific permit requirements.
